Winter Time!

We welcomed the children back to school today! It was wonderful to see everyone after the holiday break. We introduced new toys and started to discuss our new theme, winter. The children discussed winter weather, snow and how to make ice. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and took our classes down to the park for a winter nature walk. We saw animal tracks in the snow and let the children make tracks. There are so many learning opportunities in nature!

Our craft today was making snowmen. We made snow on the ground using white paint and glued the snowman's body parts together. These snowmen are now decorating our classroom!
